Pada ayat berikutnya, diterangkan bahwa perlindungan terhadap karya-karya hasil pengalihwujudan tersebut diberikan sebagaimana layaknya sebuah ciptaan tersendiri, dan tanpa mengurangi Hak Cipta atas Ciptaan aslinya.

Di era globalisasi saat ini memungkinkan semua orang berinteraksi dan menjalin kerja sama dengan semua orang di seluruh dunia. Selain itu, didukung oleh kemajuan teknologi komunikasi yang memudahkan orang lintas negara saling terhubung satu sama lain. Dalam dunia bisnis, bermitra dengan pihak asing sudah menjadi bagian yang tidak bisa dipisahkan demi kemajuan perusahaan sehingga membutuhkan pihak ketiga untuk membantu melancarkan komunikasi dengan klien. Sworn translator merupakan profesi yang membutuhkan kepercayaan dari masyarakat mengingat dokumen yang harus diterjemahkan sworn translator baik dokumen pribadi, bisnis hingga kepentingan negara dan sworn translator adalah orang atau individu yang mempunyai keahlian dalam menghasilkan terjemahan dan terdaftar dan diangkat sumpah oleh menteri hukum dan hak asasi manusia. Sworn translator bertanggung jawab terhadap kebenaran dokumen yang telah diterjemahkan sehingga jika ada unsur kesengajaan dan kesalahan maka hal ini akan menjadi objek pidana bagi translator bersangkutan. Pelaksanaan Pengucapan sumpah/janji jabatan sworn translator adalah bukti hadirnya pemerintah untuk mendukung dan mendorong profesi translator untuk diakui dan dilindungi sebagai profesional dan fasilitator antar negara.
